A few notes: This is not a professional recording. A videographer was scheduled to record my performance Saturday night but it never happened due to a storm and subsequent power outage.
We did the show Sunday, but in a lo-res acoustic way -- and someone recorded most of the piece on her iphone. With the help of a friend who knows these things better than I do, we knitted the clips together + filled in w/ animated text at beginning which was not recorded.
Congratulations! I was in a spoken word event at the Kauai Writer's conference and it was a first for me too and it was amazing and transformational. Good for you!
Annie, thank you so much! I know you’ve done so many brave ‘firsts’ + it is one of the things I admire about you. It’s more than three years since we all gathered on that pavilion overlooking the lake + it’s wild to think what I didn’t know then what I’d know today about story. Big love to you.
